Pricing questions

What does it cost during beta?

Skilloop is free during public beta. Every learner account gets unlimited browsing and session requests; every expert account gets unlimited listings, in-platform messaging, and Stripe-managed payouts.

How do session payments work?

Sessions are paid through Stripe Checkout. The expert sets the price per session; learners pay up front; funds settle to the expert's connected Stripe account after each completed session. Skilloop's platform fee is 0% during beta.

When do paid plans arrive?

Pro (for individual experts who want richer analytics and featured placement) and Team (for organizations that want seat management and team-level reporting) are on the post-beta roadmap. We will announce pricing at least 30 days before any change.

Can I cancel a session and get a refund?

Yes. If an expert declines your request or no session takes place, you can request a full refund from your dashboard and the funds return to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. See our Terms page for the full refund policy.

Will the free beta change after launch?

The current free tier remains free for everyone who signed up before launch. New users after launch will get a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan and then transition to a fair-use free tier or a paid plan of their choice.
